High Resolution Fix - Upscale the image and fix details

Last updated 5 months ago

High-Resolution Fix (Hires. Fix) is a process that involves upscaling an image and subsequently redrawing it based on the original image. Hires Fix is essential for achieving high-quality images as it can enhance the characters' faces and add additional details. However, it is worth noting that this process may alter the images to some degree, depending on the strength value applied.

How does it work?

We create a image with prompt "a woman wearing tee shirt walking on a street, full body". The resulting image is in a good composition but the face of the woman is obviously deformed.

We can use the 'High-res Fix' feature, which allows us to upscale and enhance the image, focusing specifically on improving the face. To access this feature, simply click on the 'High-res Fix' button located at the bottom of the page. It will provide you with a range of settings to adjust for the high-resolution fix.

If you are unsure about the various settings, you can leave them at their default values and simply click the 'Fix Now' button to initiate the high-resolution fix process.

After the high-resolution fix process, you will notice a significant enhancement in the face, as well as improved details on the hands and shoes. The overall image quality is greatly improved, and it is upscaled to 2X its original size.
